Here are a couple of general hashkafic Nafka Minot that I see between the different ones being discussed (Since given the state of “Modern Orthodox” Judaism today I think that there are very few people who actually practive an MO hashkafah in a halachically sound way I will not address that here…that is a different discussion):
Religious Zionist: I consider it an obligation to make Aliyah, unless there are very serious considerations to oppose this.
Hareidi: Making aliyah is an important mitzvah to consider when thinking one’s overall observance of mitzvot OR I dont consider making aliyah to be so important – I’ll wait for mashiach to come and then book my ticket.
Religious Zionist: I look forward to the day when there is a halachic, Torah based government, when the Sanhedrin is reestablished and the Beit Hamikdash is rebuilt. Until then, even though I do not like the fact that the Israeli government is often anti-halachic and anti-religious, I will still do my utmost to support and build the strong Jewish settlement of the Land of Israel, including paying taxes, being a good citizen, serving in the Army and protecting other Jews.
Hareidi: The current government is a Hillul Hashem. Until there is a halachic, Torah based government, I will have nothing to do with them. They are illegitimate and do not deserve any recognition, let alone any of my support, taxes, etc. I do not want to serve in the army – instead I will contribute to the welfare of the Jewish people by learning Torah.
