The 19th and last article from the True Role Models series of article by Dov Gilor of the Jewish Press has just been published online. This series of articles gives over “stories of American Jews who came to Israel for ideological and religious reasons in the past years. The purpose of the series is to emphasize the quality of the early Olim to Israel from America and to disprove the thesis that Olim in the early years of the state were unsuccessful shnorrers.” Click Here to see links to all of the articles.
