(Part I). No sources for this one. This is from a phone conversation I had with a member of our yisuhuv-to-be (with a little bit of my embelishment added in):
“You don’t realize what an amazing thing it is that you are doing. Your family has been in exile for two thousand years and now you are changing the destiny of your blood-lines forever. Your children will speak lashon hakodesh and will be living in the land of your fathers. It is very tremendous of you – we can’t wait to see you and we will be waiting to welcome you and help you out after you come Home”
Amen! (47 days to go!!)

Most people don’t want to move to Israel for a simple reason that stupid politicians made the Promised Land the hell on the earth, economically, militarily, and politically.

Thank you for your constructive comment Danny. I agree that there are problems in Israel. There are also problems in America (which is not Gan Eden either). However, I do not think that any purpose is served by repeating the sin of the spies.
