Arrived Safely

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

We are here.
I wont be able to post anything substantial until I have a more reliable Internet connection.
Short version: flight was tiring, not as exciting as we thought it would be. We were interviewed by a TV reporter. Took forever to get our bags and a taxi. Had a wonderful reception at our new home.

The plane will be taking off from JFK tonight around 8:30pm (with candle lighting and other festivities before hand).
Landing is at Ben Gurion airport on Wednesday around 2pm. As far as I know, the arrival ceremony is full, but if you want [...]

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

Everything is Gone!

Monday, December 12th, 2005

I took some pictures of the apartment before and after the lift was loaded. Unfortunately, my camera cable is somewhere in a big pile of things-to-be-sorted and my laptop doesn’t have a cool digital camera flash memory card reader (the desktop with that one is in a box in a metal crate on a train [...]

No More Packing. Please!

Monday, December 5th, 2005

The movers are coming on Tuesday to pack all of our belongings into a 20 foot container. From there it goes by truck to Worcester, Mass, train to NYC and then to the docks, onto a boat and an eighteen day cruise to some port in Israel where we will hopefully be waiting to pay [...]
