We are here.
I wont be able to post anything substantial until I have a more reliable Internet connection.
Short version: flight was tiring, not as exciting as we thought it would be. We were interviewed by a TV reporter. Took forever to get our bags and a taxi. Had a wonderful reception at our new home.
Longer version to come later.
On a different note…
As expected, my previous two posts generated a number of (mainly negative) comments. As I said in my last few posts, I am moderating the comments right now. This is not because I am afraid of intellectual honesty or because I think that my arguments cannot stand up to your arguments and therefore I must censor you. Far from it. I am moderating now because a few people have decided to comment based on their own agendas, using canned lines and arguments that are not backed up by fact. Only rhetoric. And with a very very anti-Israel and anti-Jewish slant.
If these people could back up any of their arguments rather than repeating the same lines over and over, I would be happy to let them through. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
To the people who have commented in the last day: I will be posting almost all of your comments through as-is. Many of you have good things to say, things that I would like to respond to. However, this will not happen (again) until I am able to have a reliable Internet connection. However, to react to some specific points:
- No, I do not hate all Arab
- No, I did not know that Yashiko Sagamora was a pen name. But I still think that the points are valid
- This is not a public forum. It was never advertised as a public forum. If you have read anything that I write, you will see that I will tend to favor the State of Israel, the Jewish People, etc rather than the people who seek to destroy them. If you have a problem with this, there are plenty of places for you to state your grievances. But here I do not have such a high tolerance for Israel and Jew-bashing for its own sake. I am sorry if you don’t like this. If you really don’t like it, then maybe you should make your own website
- Stay tuned for more
