Last Wednesday afternoon (the first day of the month of Adar, second day of Rosh Chodesh), as it was getting close to sunset, I heard a knock on the door. I wasn’t expecting anyone, and the rest of my family was accounted for. When I answered the door, a group of about 10 eight year olds came dancing through the door singing Mishenichnas Adar Marbim B’Simcha – As (the month of) Adar enters, we increase our joy.

(Brought back memories of dancing down through High Rise North on Rosh Chodesh Adar)
Good way to start off the month. The smell of Purim is in the air – kids are getting dressed up now, weather is getting warmer (it was in the 70s today, for all of you stuck in the states), seudah is being planned.
It’s a good time to be in Israel.
Shabbat Shalom.
