The inextricable linking of Israel to Judaism does nothing for Jews except make them a target. I grew up with funny, loving, generous and kind Jews. If Israel were to be sanctioned for their consistent ignorance of UN resolutions and their oppression of minorities both within its borders and in its illegally occupied territories, then this would only be a good thing. It's boring and convenient for Israelis to use the stick of guilt on non Jews and if that doesn't work beat them with the accusation of being anti semitic. If wanting a sovereign state to stop behaving in a way which offends most of the world is anti semitic then grow up. Such unholy masacres leave me feling only pity for a nation that is as cowardly as it is criminal. Anti semitic attacks will no doubt increase around the world and then the jewish nation will still wonder why such attacks are perpetrated. Just as innocent Palestinians and Lebanese decry their plight from daily attacks on their persons. Anti semitism and anti Israel sentiments arise from frustration and ignorance.
