Yes, if only Israel would withdraw, withdraw, withdraw, then all the region's problems would go away!

John -- don't be naive. If you're so enamored of UN resolutions, then recognize that the Jewish Agency accepted the 1947 UN Partition Plan -- a very modest accomdation to the Jews considering centuries of stateless persecution -- while Arab leaders rejected it. The subsequent wars which preceded UN Resolutions 194 and 242 were instigated by the Arabs in order to destroy Israel and both times the Arabs lost. Isn't it a little absurd for you to insist that these aggressors be rewarded for their rejectionism and belligerency?

Face it. It's time the Arab world accepted responsibility for their own actions -- and for resettling their own refugees, like Israel has -- and stopped blaming others.

How about Israel complies with UN General Assembly Resolutions 194 and 242 and then once that happens we can worry about 1559.
