Now this one definitely beats the famous 2am mosquito massacre that happened three nights ago, the ant infestations that appear after food is ont he floor for two minutes, the “silverfish”…there is mamash a scorpion crawling around in our halogen lightbulb fixture. Never seen that one before.

After 15 years in sunny South Florida I have experienced scorpions in light fixtures, mosquitoes that are big enought to carry away your children, iguanas, alligators, wild boar, etc. If I could live in Miami during the Columbian drug wars and the Overtown riots I think I should be able to handle life in Israel. Er, I hope so anyway. ;)

Update: the scorpion was about 1-2 inches long and died within five minutes of writing this post, from too-close exposure to the light (presumably)
