In the makolet they have a whole section of repackaged spices and snacks. Very economical way to get garlic powder, cumin, raisins and dried fruit. One of the things that they feature is banana chips. You know – thin slices of hard banana. Nice, healthy, bite-sized snack, right?
Think again. For those too lazy to check out the link, all I have to say is: 1 banana worth of banana chips has 109.5g fat and 1097 Calories. (Compare this with 200 Calories and 1g fat for a raw banana).
